Evidence-Based Practice

This guide covers using the PICO formula to create research questions and search strategies as well as how to identify and locate information resources at every level, from background information to systematic reviews.

Renovation Update

Due to unsafe construction conditions near the entrance of Forsyth Library, the Welcome Desk will be closed the first week of the Spring 2025 semester. From Tuesday, January 21 - Friday, January 24 from 11am – 4pm, laptops may be checked out from Custer Hall 304. Please contact Lacey Wegner at llwegner@fhsu.edu with any questions. 

The Welcome Desk will reopen in Forsyth Library on Monday, January 27, 2025 and will be open Monday-Friday 7:30am - 6pm. Enter through the northeast accessible door. For a full list of library hours visit: https://libcal.fhsu.edu/hours/
