This page of the FHSU website has downloadable guides for both on-campus and online transfer and military students, as well as information about transferring credits, costs, scholarships and more.

FHSU's free online tutoring and academic assistance service is available to students currently enrolled in only virtual classes.

Located in Rarick 157, the Writing Center offers trained consultants to help you tackle those writing assignments. From choosing a topic to perfecting your documentation style, our consultants can help you strengthen your writing skills. In-person or online appointments can be made online on the Writing Center site.

Located in the lower level of the Memorial Union, the SHC provides access to prompt and personable care for minor illnesses or injuries, as well as testing and medications. See their page for additional health services available in Hays.

Offers a range of personalized, supportive services including:
Personal Counseling, Alcohol & Drug Counseling, Self-Help and Screenings.

Meal Plans are available, though not required, for transfer students.

In case you find yourself with too much month left at the end of your paycheck, stop by FHSU's food pantry and pick up some items to tide you over. When you can, donate an item or two to help out a fellow Tiger. Located on the main floor of Forsyth Library near the front doors.

An on-campus preschool center for children age 2 1/2 to school age.

FHSU students may borrow from our collection of children’s and young adult books, now located on the second floor.

SGA's purpose is "serving, protecting and promoting the interests and rights of the students". They represent the "interests of the students to the administrators of FHSU, the Kansas Legislature and the Kansas Board of Regents."

The VSS is an affiliate of the Student Gov't Association, established to represent virtual students, facilitate communication with faculty and administration, and enhance the virtual college experience.

The Transfer & Military Center can assist you in accessing a range of services & benefits, including Credit for Prior Learning, Veteran Benefits and the Student Veterans' Association.

This organization is a chapter of the national Student Veterans of America and is dedicated to creating and promoting opportunities for the military-connected population of FHSU.

CPL allows you to demonstrate learning you already have and gain college credit. This means you can avoid taking courses that you don’t need, saving you time, and money.
