What can be borrowed?
Journal articles (both print and digital), print books, audiovisual materials, microforms, theses & dissertations.
What cannot be borrowed?
Textbooks, some reference works such as encyclopedias.
How long does it take?
This varies by item. Articles can usually be sent to you electronically and arrive quickly. Physical items take longer. We strive to fill all requests in the shortest time possible. But if you need the article for a paper that is due in a day or two, you may not receive it in time.
What does it cost?
Most requests are free. If the lending library charges for an item, we will contact you in advance to ask if you are willing to pay the fee. You will be charged for any lost or damaged items.
PASSWORDS: If you forget your password, you will need to contact the Interlibrary Loan office at 785-628-4351 to get it reset. There is no "forgot my password" function in Illiad, the Interlibrary Loan system.
