In order to successfully search library databases, it's important to have a topic that is well defined. Use the tutorials on this page to acquaint yourself with developing your topic and learning search strategies.
Brainstorm a list of keywords about your topic
As you search keep your eyes open for other keywords or authoritative terms to add to your list (subject headings, synonyms, etc.)
You'll need to try multiple keywords and combinations of keywords
Use AND / OR / NOT to connect your keywords together

In Blackboard, create and name an Item (or any other Blackboard tool that includes the standard Text Editor)
Click the HTML button at the bottom right of the Tool Buttons to open the HTML editor
