Faculty Guide to Information Literacy Resources

Guide for faculty

Not sure where to start with information literacy in your class?

Try this Online Workshop, a version of the Information Literacy Workshop presented by the Writing Across the Curriculum Committee, Forsyth Library, and TILT on November 7, 2023.

You'll learn what information literacy is, its place in the FHSU curriculum, and how to address common questions and frustrations. It includes suggested class activities and examples from FHSU faculty.

Information Literacy is the ability to effectively and responsibly gather, evaluate, and use information for scholarship and problem-solving.

The ACRL Framework for Information Literacy in Higher Education informs this definition. ACRL is the College and Research Libraries division of the American Library Association.
