Search Primo and select Library Catalog. To find books, e-books, cds, movies or print journal holdings, type in one or two keywords and search.
On the results screen, you can choose items that can be accessed Online or are Available in the Library. Use the links on the left side to limit to books, by date, topic, etc.
Click "Details" to learn more about the item. Note that the book is either Available or checked out, and the Location and Call Number are given just under the author's name.
To find E-Books, click Full-Text Online and limit to Books, using the links on the left side of the page.
Then click View to see the link to the e-book.
Click "Advanced Search" to search a combination of terms, or limit by date, author, etc.

To find books on a particular artist, search for that artist's name in the online catalog (see below for detailed instructions). 
If you do not find anything, try searching for the style or the period in which the artist worked, such as Surrealism or Renaissance Art. Such books may contain information on an individual artist--check the index at the back of the book. If you are still unable to locate what you need, search WorldCat (instructions at left) to find books in other libraries that you can request.

To find e-books, search by keyword or title, then check the filters for Books and Full-Text Online.
Books on the Fine Arts are shelved under "N", and broken down into subtopics. Browse these areas in the General Collection on the Top Floor, or the Reference Section on the Main Floor. NOTE: Many art books are large, and are shelved in the OVERSIZED section on the top floor. Take the stairs from the lobby, go through the double doors at the top and the Oversized section is straight ahead.
