Books and other materials which must be returned to the lending library, sometimes arrive within one or two days, but may take up to two weeks to arrive.

Most journal articles will arrive in your e-mail within 24 hours, possibly sooner.

When Requested Materials Arrive:

Books and other items with due dates, can be picked up from the One Stop desk on the main floor of the library. Patrons can also return these items to this desk on the main floor.

Patrons will receive e-mail notification when their requested journal articles arrive.  These documents can be accessed by opening the PDF attachment, or by using the provided password and URL to access the document online.

How Do I Request Items?

Before you make a request:

  • You can request items only if they are not owned by Forsyth Library (this rule pertains to on-campus students only).
  • So make sure to first check our Library Catalog and databases to see if we have a copy of the title you need
  • If an item we own appears to be missing, report it to library staff. You can then submit an ILLiad request.

Request using ILLiad:
