If you have questions about the government documents collection or about how to complete the review process - contact Masyn Phoenix.
The government documents review letter shown below was sent to faculty and staff as notitication of the Government Documents Review. It includes information about the general process.
The Excel files posted to this page will list items currently held in the Government Documents Collection at Forsyth Library. The spreadsheets include titles, classification number, and holdings information when there is more than one item within the classification number. This could apply to periodicals and series publications.
New files will be posted in August.
The Learn more about the Superintendent of Documents Classification (SuDoc) link goes to a web page that gives information about the classification scheme. It includes links to the current classification stems, explains subordinate structure, contains examples, etc.
The link titled Direct link to the current classification stems may be used to help you determine which agency published a title by using the classification assigned to a title.
The Government Documents Review may be completed without this information, but may prove useful to some as they complete the review.
